Julie Myers, Director

Julie Myers is in her 13th year as the Head Coach at the University of Virginia. In each of her seasons with the Cavaliers, Myers has guided her team to the NCAA Championships—a feat matched by no other Division I coach in the same period. In addition, the 2007 Cavaliers won the ACC Tournament for the second consecutive year and for the third time in four years; Virginia has played in the title game of the ACC Tournament in eight of the 11 years it has been contested—more than any other team in the conference.

 

Colleen Shearer, Administrative Assistant

Colleen Shearer is in her 11th year as an assistant coach at Virginia and has helped to take the team to the NCAA tournament each year earning one NCAA title and coaching seven other NCAA final games. For the past four seasons she has led the attack to national prominence as UVA has been among nation’s elite in scoring offense in each of those seasons. She is a 1995 graduate of Rowan College where she was an All-American in both field hockey and lacrosse and earned a spot on the 1994 US National Lacrosse Team. Colleen was the head coach at Wagner College 1995-1997.

 

Heather Dow, Assistant

A Virginia graduate and in her 13th year as an Assistant Coach at UVA. A former U.S. and World Cup goalkeeper, as well as, current U.S. Elite and World Cup Assistant Coach. Four time World Champion, once as a player and three times as a coach.
